STOP valo ja engine temperature too high

Olin kaverin 1.6Hdi C4 kyydissä tänään kunnes stopvalo syttyi...

Mistä moinen herja voisi johtua? Punainen merkkivalo siis syttyi ja teksi ilmestyi näyttöön "engine temperature too high" muutaman sekunnin ajaksi kunnes katosi ja ajo jatkoi normaalisti, kun katsottiin että lämpötila pylväs näytti ok:lta..

Onkohan joku lämpöanturi vika? vai ennakoiko termostaatin hajoamisesta??

Tämmösen löysin, onko kellään lisättävää?

C4 red 'STOP' light and warning beep + the computer says 'Engine temperature too high'
   Basically the car will come to a halt and not run as it's immobilised by the on board computer as the temperature gauge will go right to the top as if overheating

Try disconnecting the battery for a short while should reset the ECU and might sort the car out again.

If not try disconnecting the temperature sensor as it may get the car started

If that doesn't work ring Citroen Assist on 0800 056 5099 if the car is under warranty (less than 3 years old and under 60,000 miles) to get it towed to a dealer as it will require a new temperature sensor
